As governor of Virginia, Monroe grants "a certain Tract or Parcel of Land, containing Two hundred Acres by Survey…in the County of Russell." Neatly signed at the conclusion in ink by Governor Monroe. Handsomely corner-mounted, double-matted, and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 27 x 19.5. In fine condition.
