Canadian obstetrician (1883-1943) remembered for delivering and caring for the Dionne quintuplets, the first quintuplets known to survive early infancy. Vintage glossy 9 x 7 photo of Dr. Allan Roy Dafoe posing with the Dionne quintuplets in 1937, signed in fountain pen. The photo is affixed to a backing sheet with an adhered photo caption to the front and a 'Five Little Sweethearts' article to the reverse. In very good to fine condition, with creasing to the edges.
