She is best known for her roles in Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times and The Great Dictator, and she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in So Proudly We Hail! Charming vintage sepia matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Goddard smiling under a large sun hat, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Chow Monk Jr., Hello, Paulette Goddard." In fine condition, with a small crease to the lower right corner tip.
