Letter to Michael D’Alessandro, the president of the Young Republicans Club at the Georgetown University Law Center, in full: “Thank you very much for your letter of March 3rd and for the beautiful leather-bound copy of the Complete Works of Robert Frost. As I am sure you know, Robert Frost was President Kennedy’s favorite poet and he is also one of mine—so the book means even more to me. I enjoyed meeting you and your fellow Young Republicans. I am only sorry we could not spend more time together.” Kennedy strikes through the recipient's last name in the valediction and writes “Mike” in his own hand. In very fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
