Captain of the Carpathia (1869-1940) responsible for rescuing Titanic survivors on the morning of April 15, 1912. Vintage ink signature, "A: H: Rostron, Captain RNR,” on an off-white 4.5 x 3.5 engraved "On Board the RMS 'Mauretania" card. In fine condition, with a small stain to the upper right corner, and trivial loss to the lower left corner tip. Accompanied by an unsigned glossy photo.
