Softcover report entitled "Transporter and Transporter Kits and Horizontal Engine Handling Kit Design Evaluation Tests, Model No. DSV-4" prepared for NASA by the Douglas Aircraft Company's Missile & Space Systems Division, 77 pages, 8.5 x 11.25, August 19, 1963. The report describes and illustrates the tests performed on the DSV-4 transporter, designed to haul the Saturn S-IV stage from one locale to another. It concludes that the transporter, transporter handling kit, and engine handling kit satisfactorily completed all tests, but performance of the protective and tie-down kit (environmental covers) was unsatisfactory. In fine condition.
