Glossy 8 x 10 photo of the original four-minute-milers, signed vertically in blue felt tip by Roger Bannister and John Landy. In fine condition. Accompanied by compliment slips from both runners, individually signed in black felt tip. Bannister (1929-2018) became the first athlete to finish the mile run in under four minutes on May 6, 1954, coming in at 3 minutes and 59.4 seconds; Landy (1930-2022) broke his record just weeks later on June 21, 1954, with a new record of 3:57.9.
