American actor and television director (1909-1982) who is best known for his portrayal of Ward Cleaver on the television series Leave It to Beaver. Very scarce vintage fountain pen signature and inscription, "Best wishes Lucille, Hugh Beaumont,” on a pink 6 x 4.5 album page, with a collector's date notation of September 27, 1944; also signed on the reverse by Spring Byington. In fine condition.
