With my warmest regards and heartfelt thanks for your Prayers." In fine condition, with scattered light stains.
On April 2, 1991, Landon began to suffer from a severe headache while he was on a skiing vacation in Utah. Three days later, he was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of pancreatic cancer, both inoperable and terminal. On May 9, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson to speak about the cancer, pledging to fight the disease and asking his fans to pray for him. Landon died on July 1st at the age of 54.
