Huge glossy 29.5 x 23 photo of the damaged Apollo 13 service module floating in space after jettison from the command module, signed in gold ink, “Fred Haise, Apollo 13 LMP, April 14, 1970” and “Jack Lousma, Apollo 13 CAPCOM, April 14, 1970.” Haise adds his portion of the conversation following the service module explosion: “Okay. Right now, Houston, the voltage is—is looking good, and we had a pretty large bang associated with the CAUTION & WARNING there. And as I recall, MAIN B was the one that had had an amp spike on it once before!” Lousma adds notes on his role and a longer section of the back-and-forth between crew and mission control: “I was the Capcom at MCC in the ‘White Team’ when Apollo 13 was about 210,000 miles from Earth when the accident happened on April 13, 1970. 55 hours, 54 minutes, 53 seconds—Oxygen Tank #2 exploded in the service module (SM).—Jack Swigert, CMP: ‘Okay, Houston, we`ve had a problem here.’—Jack Lousma, Capcom: ‘This is Houston. Say again, please.’—Jim Lovell, CDR: ‘Ah, Houston, we`ve had a problem. We’ve had a Main Bus B undervolt.’—Jack Lousma, Capcom: ‘Roger, Main Bus B undervolt.’” In fine condition, with apparent scuffs and wear inherent to the original image and not the photo.
