Queen of Denmark and Norway from 1752 to 1766 as the second consort of King Frederick V; she went on to serve as de facto regent from 1772 to 1784 during the reign of her step-son, Christian VII. LS in Danish, signed “Juliane Marie,” one page both sides, 8 x 12.25, January 11, 1772. Untranslated letter signed at the conclusion by Juliana Maria of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. In very good to fine condition, with areas of light toning. Accompanied by an unsigned engraved portrait.
