USN"), Boatswain's Mate Second Class Richard E. Deal ("R. E. Deal"), and Aviation Metalsmith Second Class Moody E. Erwin ("M. Erwin"). In fine condition. The accident-prone naval airship USS Akron (ZRS-4) was lost in a weather-related accident off the coast of New Jersey on April 4, 1933, killing 73 of the 76 crew and passengers on board.
