Scarce original ticket stub for the memorial ceremony held at the Olympic Stadium on September 6, 1972, during the Munich 1972 Summer Olympics. The memorial service was held in honor of a West German police officer and 11 Israeli athletes and coaches who were killed by Palestinian Black September members during the second week of the games; the event has since been deemed the ‘Munich Massacre.’ The ticket stub, 5.75 x 4, is issued for Block L1, Row 38, and Seat 16. In fine condition, with a vertical fold.
