Three items signed by former New York Yankees first baseman Don Mattingly—a fitted New York Yankees baseball cap by New Era, size 7 ⅜, signed on the crown in silver ink; and a pair of right and left hand Franklin batting gloves, size medium, both signed on the Velcro strap in blue felt tip; the consignor notes that the gloves were personally-worn and -used by Mattingly, a claim aided by their well-worn palms and fingers. In overall very good to fine condition, with obvious heavy use to the gloves. The consignor notes that these items were personally donated and signed by Mattingly for a New York charity event silent auction in the mid-1980s.
