Two items: a color 5 x 7 cardstock photo of the children's TV host in his classic sweater, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip. "For Burt Penn, with kindest regards, Fred Rogers, 2000"; and a TLS signed "Fred Rogers," one page, 8.5 x 11, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood letterhead, February 2000, in part: "What a pleasure it was to meet you through a letter I received from Debbie. She told me about your warm feelings for our Neighborhood, and it meant a great deal to me that she felt you would appreciate hearing from me. As I read Debbie's letter, I couldn't help but think that her care for both of you must surely be a reflection of the love you have given and continue to bring to your family. How fortunate your family and friends are to have your love, and how fortunate you are to have theirs." The photo also bears a pre-printed "Mr. Rogers" facsimile signature. In fine condition.
