Apollo 14 backup embroidered crew patch with a gold border, made by A-B Emblem Corp., of Weaverville, North Carolina, 4.25" x 4", which features cartoon characters the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote, with the last names of the backup crew stitched along the bottom and 'Beep Beep' at the top. Reverse bears the manufacturer's label. In fine condition. Made exclusively for the backup crew, many of these gold-bordered examples were planted on the Apollo 14 flight as a prank.
