UK vinyl pressing of the 1977 Queen album News of the World, which has been signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint by Freddie Mercury and Brian May. The consignor notes that the autographs were obtained at the Dragonora Hotel in Leeds, England on May 28, 1982, one day before Queen’s show at the Elland Road Football stadium, which was part of the group’s 1982 ‘Hot Space’ tour. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the original recipient, which reads: “I met Queen at the Dragonora Hotel Leeds on Friday 28th May 1982 the night before their gig at Elland Road Stadium. It was a magical experience, almost surreal. Brian took us into the bar and signed anything then we caught the others on the way to the soundcheck.”
