Unusual 4 x 2.5 carte-de-visite photo featuring an image of A. Brett & Co.'s print 'Death Bed of Lincoln,' which depicts Abraham Lincoln on his deathbed with his wife Mary Todd kneeling at his side. The photo also depicts various cabinet members and generals, such as: William Dennison, John P. Usher, Gideon Welles, Hugh McCulloch, Montgomery C. Meigs, Christopher C. Augur, Henry Halleck, Salmon P. Chase, Joseph Barnes, John M. Hay, Robert Todd Lincoln, Charles Leale, Charles Sumner, Edwin M. Stanton, and James Speed. Brett's print was originally published by Jones and Clark of New York in 1865. In fine condition, with some soiling to the borders and light silvering to the image.
