(20th Century Fox, 1980) Original color 28 x 22 ‘Style A’ international half sheet movie poster for the 1980 space opera The Empire Strikes Back, which features Roger Kastel’s famous ‘Gone With the Wind’ style artwork of Hans Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker on a tauntaun, R2-D2, C-3PO, and Chewbacca below a large image of Darth Vader’s upper helmet, with upper text reading: “The Star Wars Saga Continues.” Lower portion contains cast and crew credits, and production details; and the bottom border features NSS information; upper left and right is identified as “800001.” The open white spaces to either side were used for specific theater information and advertisements. In very good to fine condition, with overall light creasing, and short tears to the left edge.
