Prince’s personally-owned and -worn long-sleeved lightweight blue velvet jacket, featuring a Mandarin collar and brilliant light blue ornamental frog closures along the front. Fabulously rendered in shimmering royal blue velvet, this is a magnificent piece from Prince's personal wardrobe. Prince wore the jacket in and around his Glam Slam nightclub in Miami, Florida. In fine condition.
Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Jeff Lowe (of Tiger King fame), stating that he acquired the jacket in 2009 from Glam Slam club manager Paul Pudlitzke. In part: "In 2009 I purchased a very large collection of items that belonged to the musician Prince, from Paul Pudlitzke. Paul managed all of Prince's Glam Slam nightclubs."
