Handwritten letter of introduction, in part: "A very particular friend of mine Mr. C. D. Colden is going to Bordeaux for his health. I will esteem it a particular favor if you will furnish him with a Letter or such certificate as the Gentleman who hands you this will describe." In very good condition, with overall staining.
