Vintage matte-finish 7 x 9 photo of Rudolph Valentino dressed as a matador, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Mr. & Mrs. Beatou, Very sincerely, R. Valentino.” In fine condition, with trimmed borders, and a tiny chip to the top edge. Valentino starred as the matador Juan Gallardo in the 1922 silent drama Blood and Sand, which was based on the 1909 Spanish novel Sangre y arena (Blood and Sand) by Vicente Blasco Ibanez.
