Two TLSs signed “Katharine Hepburn” and “Kate Hep,” both one page, 5.5 x 8.5 and 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, both addressed to famed Hollywood publicist John Springer. The earlier letter, from November 30, 1988: “I am sorry but I cannot be with you on February 28th.” The second letter, May 9, 1990: “Thank you for your nice letter,” with Hepburn adding a handwritten postscript: “Seemed a bit long to me but they say people liked it.” In overall very good to fine condition, with light irregular toning to the earlier letter. Accompanied by the original mailing envelopes.
