The front depicts a Greek athlete wearing a headband superimposed against a background of snowflakes; the reverse bears the Grenoble Games emblem and a city view with the Belledonne mountain range in the background, with raised text along the bottom, “X Jeux Olympiques D’Hiver.” An impressive medal with boldly realized designs to either side.
