Scarce 1985 original 16.75 x 25 first print mail order poster from the UK Bowie fanzine Starzone, which shows a young David Bowie seated in a suit with his hands clasped under bold text, “David Robert Jones,” signed in black felt tip, “Bowie, 86.” Consignor notes that this poster was signed in New York City and obtained in-person by a collector who caught Bowie leaving his residence. The image used on the poster was taken at Clapham Common on November 6, 1966; he had renamed himself David Bowie for over a year by then. Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with light creasing, and three horizontal folds. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from David Bowie autograph expert Andrew Peters.
