Frustrated handwritten letter to an associate, in part: "Hope you will ask Miss Smith about our conference. Straightened her out on some points you are getting after me about. I will cooperate—just say what you want; but don't think I am doing things I am not doing. I wrote you that I cancelled the engagement with my friend Van Shriner and would accept Falk's invitation. I did not give you a vague answer. I am doing just as you wish in Pittsburg. Ask Miss Smith what I told her. Won't you just tell me what you want done—don't rub it in on some matters I am not to blame for. I see the importance of your contentions, but you got the wrong idea about my own activities." In very good to fine condition, with a paperclip impression to the top edge, and some light irregular toning. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
