Revolutionary War-dated manuscript DS, signed "Wil.Livingston, Pres't," two pages both sides, 8.25 x 13, June 9, 1779. Lengthy document presenting an act "to impower the Clerks of the several Counties to administer the Official and other necessary oaths to certain officers in such counties; and for procuring to the Secretary of the State returns of the names of such Officers." Signed at the conclusion by Livingston. In very good condition, with scattered light foxing, paper loss to the edges, and old tape repairs to separations along hinge and vertical fold.
