Desirable high-grade set of 1963 Topps Beverly Hillbillies trading cards, featuring beloved characters Jed Clampett, Granny, Elly May, Jethro, and more from the classic 1960s sitcom. When first released, the cards were available in five-cent packs and less commonly in one-cent gumball machines. In the 1980s the consignor purchased a rare, vintage gumball machine still containing two stacks of Beverly Hillbillies cards. The consignor assembled a few full sets of cards and this is one of those sets. The cards have been handled only twice: once when placed into the machine in 1963, and once when they were retrieved and placed into display sleeves in 1984. In fine condition, all retaining clean, crisp edges and sharp corners.
