Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 14 x 9.25, February 6, 1823. President Monroe grants Robert Lindsay a parcel of land "containing five hundred and ninety five acres of the Lands directed to be sold at Milledgeville, Georgia." Boldly signed at the conclusion by President Monroe and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office John McLean. The seal affixed to the left side remains intact. In very good to fine condition, with light soiling, and toning along the intersecting folds.
