Hopkinson," one page, 8.25 x 4, May 30, 1780. Bill of exchange. In full: "At Thirty Days Sight of this Fourth Bill, First, Second and Third not paid, pay to Mr. Thomas Mumford or Order, Thirty Dollars, in One Hundred and Fifty Livres Tournois, for Interest due on Money borrowed by the United States." In fine condition, with a small adhesive remnant to reverse.
