Handwritten lyrics by CJ Ramone for the song ‘Scattergun,’ unsigned, penned in black ballpoint on an off-white 8.5 x 10.75 sheet. The lyrics, in full: “Smooth bore, scattergun, you are, the only one, to cover me, when I sleep, you cover me, in my dreams carry, a smooth bore, scattergun, steal from me, there'll be no time to run, I got the bead on you, she fires true, take whatcha want, and I'll do, what I have to do, smooth bore, scattergun, scattergun, scattergun, triple O bucks, the only shot for me, cut any man, right off at the knees, don't need to bother, the police, I've got my Mossberg 590.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds. Written by CJ Ramone, ‘Scattergun’ was the tenth track on the Ramones’ fourteenth and final studio album, Adios Amigos. The track was also one of four songs on the album that CJ provided lead vocals, with the others being ‘Makin Monsters for My Friends,’ ‘The Crusher,’ and ‘Cretin Family.’
