Handwritten lyrics by Joey Ramone for the Steel Reserve commercial jingle ‘High Gravity Lager,’ unsigned, penned in blue and black ballpoint on two off-white 8.5 x 11 sheets. The lyrics, in part: “Steel Reserve, I like it, Steel Reserve, Id love some, blow your mind, I like it, want some…Steel Reserve, I want some, High Gravity Lager 4x, Blow your mind, I like it, summertime, anytime…party time.” On the right side of the first sheet, Ramone adds a phone number and pens a few lines to the Adios Amigos song ‘She Dreams of Rainbows.’ In fine condition. ‘High Gravity Lager’ was one of three commercial jingles the Ramones were commissioned to write in 1995 for the Steel Brewing Company and their Steel Reserve lager. The other two song titles are ‘Gimme My Steel Reserve’ and ‘Fill My Cup,’ all of which are classic catchy Ramones.
