Field as "First Lieutenant of Infantry in the service of the United States." Neatly signed at the conclusion by President Taft and countersigned by Acting Secretary of War Robert Shaw Oliver. The blue seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. Framed to an overall size of 24.75 x 19.75. In very good to fine condition, with creasing to the side margins.
