ALS, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, Fryston Hall letterhead, no date. Letter to "Matthews," in part: "I am afraid I cannot leave here before Tuesday morning, and only by the Midland from Leeds, as the N.W. appears to take an hour longer for the journey…Lord Crewe tells me that the Midland is supposed to be the better route." In fine condition, with light creasing to the lower right corner.
