Accompanied by a letter of provenance, in part: "This scarf got given to me by one of Rihanna's stylist to re-sell it for him. It was worn by the Queen of Pop to the Paris Fashion Week and received lots of publicity. It was original sold for 1600 pounds." The shawl did make quite a stir, and photos of Rihanna wearing it have been published by People, The Daily Mail, and many other outlets.
