Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Connecticut (1726-1797) who also signed the Articles of Confederation and served as a major general in the Connecticut Militia during the Revolutionary War. ADS, signed “O. Wolcott Assist,” one page, 6 x 2.25, August 1774. Receipt penned by Wolcott on the reverse of a partly-printed writ, in full: "Mr. Samuel Lyman Rev'd Ten Pounds for Prosecution." In very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges.
