Two items: an elaborate original sketch by author Ken Kesey in multicolored marker on a white 5.5 x 9 sheet, filling the page with a bubble-letter quote from the novel and his signature, "'It's the truth even if it didn't happen!' Ken Kesey"; and a felt tip signature and inscription, "To Buddy, Regards, Jack Nicholson," on an off-white 5 x 4 card. In fine condition, with light toning over most of the Nicholson card. Accompanied by a small unsigned image of Nicholson in his Oscar-winning role as Randle Patrick 'R.P.' McMurphy.
