High-grade complete set (55/55) of 1963 Topps Astronauts 3D, an iconic non-sports issue commemorating the Mercury 7—Alan Shepard, Gus Grissom, John Glenn, Scott Carpenter, Wally Schirra, Gordon Cooper, and Deke Slayton. The set chronicles astronaut selection, training, and their missions as America's first spacemen, with outer space scenes on the backs viewable with 3-D glasses. Overall, the cards grade at 40% NM, 35% EX-MT, and 25% EX, with downgrades due almost exclusively to centering. The last (and toughest!) card in the set—#55 Checklist—has been graded by PSA EX-MT 6.
