Excellent glossy 9.5 x 7.25 photo of the seven original Mercury astronauts during U.S. Air Force survival training exercises at Nevada's Stead Air Force Base in 1960, signed in black felt tip by Gordon Cooper, John Glenn, and Alan Shepard, in black ink by Scott Carpenter and Deke Slayton, and in purple ink by Wally Schirra. Triple-matted and framed with a plaque to an overall size of 16.5 x 15. In fine condition, with some slight emulsion irregularity. A desirable and 'rugged' photo signed by six of the Mercury astronauts.
