Limited edition acrylic display containing a small piece of the heat shield from John Glenn’s Mercury-Atlas 6 spacecraft, attested to as being flown by Florian Noller, and a small unflown segment of the umbilical cord that connected the MA-6 rocket to the gantry. The acrylic block measures 5″ x 3″ x 1″. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Florian Noller of Artifact Cloud, who states that the flown heat shield derives from a larger piece removed from the capsule post-flight by longtime NASA employee Paul M. Sturtevant.
