Two items: an original 1913 'The Brecky' yearbook from Central High School in Washington, DC, 7.75 x 10.75, with a photo and biography of class valedictorian J. Edgar Hoover on page 76, also depicting him as a class officer, member of the debate team, and as a cadet captain; and a purple ink signature, "J. Edgar Hoover," on a 6.5 x 3.75 airmail cover. In overall very good to fine condition, with rubbing and edgewear to the yearbook, as well as some subtle foxing to endpapers.
