Your note regarding the Horatio Alger Award has just crossed my desk. I treasure this honor very much and feel fortunate to have your good wishes to add impetus to the occasion. Nancy and I send regards to you and Jimmy." In fine condition. Accompanied by Dixon's retained carbon copy of her reply, thanking him for granting permission.
Reagan received the Horatio Alger Award in 1969. Jeane Dixon was rumored to have been one of few psychics consulted by Nancy Reagan during Reagan’s presidency. As evidenced by this letter, her personal relationship with both Reagans went back at least as far as 1969.
