(Walt Disney Studios, 1933) Original production drawing featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse from Ye Olden Days, showing Mickey as the wandering minstrel and Minnie in her princess costume. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 12 x 9.5 animation paper, marked "82" in the lower corner. Total image measures 3.25 x 3, with a mat opening of 11.5 x 7.5. Matted to an overall size of 20 x 16. In fine condition. In the early 1930s animators did not do many overlays, so the entire scene would have to be sketched out for each movement. This drawing appears at approximately 8:05 into the cartoon, which can be viewed on YouTube.
