Official color semi-glossy 9.25 x 7 NASA photo of the American and Soviet crews of the historic and Space Race-ending Apollo-Soyuz mission, signed in black ink by Tom Stafford, Vance Brand, Deke Slayton, Alexei Leonov, and Valeri Kubasov. The photo is affixed to the original 14 x 11 mount, which is inscribed in an unknown hand: “To Stretch Flanagan, with sincere thanks for your outstanding effort and performance during our Soviet and American post flight tours!” In fine condition.
Originates from the personal collection of longtime NASA employee Robert B. 'Stretch' Flanagan, a Senior Security Specialist who accompanied the Apollo astronauts on their post-flight goodwill world tours. He was nicknamed ‘Stretch’ on account of his 6´6″ height.
