Document sent to Costello by Universal Pictures, in part: "Concurrently with the execution hereof, we have loaned you the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00)…You hereby agree that we may recoup the amount of said loan by deducting all or any part of said loan from any sums which may hereafter become due and payable to you from us." Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Costello and countersigned by two Universal representatives. In fine condition.
