Artistic montage of more than 60 signatures of NBA greats, artistically positioned along the pencil outline of "NBA LEGENDS" on a large 29 x 18.5 art board, and personally collected by Hall of Famer Dolph Schayes as a contribution to the Preservation Association of Central New York. Signers are: Dolph Schayes, Wayne Embry, Keith Erickson, Tom Heinsohn, Don Forman, Dick Van Arsdale, Bobby Jones, Alex English, Archie Clark, Paul Silas, Bob Pettit, Bill Tosheff, Dan Roundfield, Dave DeBusschere, Rich Kelley, Bob Cousy, David Stern, Gene Conley, Satch Sanders, Ernie Grunfeld, Mel Davis, K. C. Jones, Tom Van Arsdale, Randy Smith, Dave Cowens, Mitch Kupchak, Bobby Harrison, Bob Love, Charlie Scott, Brian Taylor, Jerry Krause, Sam Lacey, Dave Gavitt, Zelmo Beaty, Paul Seymour, Irv Rothenberg, Maurice Lucas, Oscar Robertson, Phil Smith, Red Auerbach, Julius Irving, Lee Calhoun, Bill Walton, Claude Terry, Dave Bing, Elgin Baylor, John Havlicek, Jim Loscutoff, Ron Boone, Bob Boozer, Jim Paxson, M. In fine condition, with a small area of broken glass in the upper left corner. Dolph Schayes carried the art board throughout the country to various meetings, ceremonies and games to complete the collection. Naomi Schayes estimates that her husband traveled over 20,000 miles to garner the signatures. The montage was auctioned at a benefit on Sept. 10, 1993 at the Hotel Syracuse, NY.
