Robert Spring forgery of a handwritten pay order signed "G:o Washington," one page 5.5 x 2.5, July 2, 1796. In part: "To the Cashier of the Office of Discount & Deposit—Baltimore. Sir, Please pay James McHenry Esq'r or bearer the sum of Three hundred and twenty one dollars." In fine condition.
