Description

Dutch-American aircraft manufacturer (1890-1939) who designed the Fokker Dr. I triplane, the plane made famous by the 'Red Baron.' Mailing envelope with a stamped cachet honoring the Annual Gala Sports Days of Garretson, South Dakota, postmarked August 16, 1936, signed boldly in fountain pen, "Fokker." In fine condition. From the collection of Stephen Adamson.
