Description

Smithsonian Institution commemorative cover with a cachet honoring the 10th anniversary of the first manned space rendezvous between the Gemini 6 and 7 capsules, postmarked at Kennedy Space Center on December 15, 1965, the launch date of Gemini 6, signed in black ballpoint by James Lovell and in black felt tip by Frank Borman. The cover is also signed by six recovery personnel from the two Gemini missions. Removably corner-mounted to a color 8.5 x 11 presentation sheet. In fine condition.
