"Men their rights and nothing more, women their rights and nothing less"

Pioneering feminist (1815-1902) who, at the first women's rights convention in Seneca Falls, New York, in 1848, presented her 'Declaration of Sentiments,' outlining her view of the rights and aims of American women and contributing in no small part to the adoption of women's suffrage more than half a century later. AQS on an off-white 5 x 7.5 book page, in full: "'Men their rights and nothing more, women their rights and nothing less,' Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Ed. 'The Revolution,' N. Y. April 2nd, 1869." In fine condition.
